Loudspeakers — Removal and Installation (Opel Vectra A)

1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

Dashboard mounted speakers

Removal

2. Using a thin screwdriver, carefully remove the speaker grille. Be careful not to damage the panel trim (see illustration)

3. Disconnect the wiring and remove the speaker.

Installation

4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Loudspeakers installed in the front doors

Removal

5. Remove the door trim panel as described in Section 11.

6. Remove the three mounting screws and remove the speaker from the door. Disconnect the wiring connector (see illustration).

Rear Speaker - Hatchback Models

Removal

8. Remove the upper rear luggage compartment trim panel as described in Section 11.

9. Unscrew the four mounting screws and remove the speaker.

Stop

10. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Rear Speaker - Sedan Models

Removal

11. Carefully remove the document shelf trim cover using the lever.

12. Loosen the four mounting screws, pull out the speaker and disconnect the wiring.
