1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery (see Chapter 5).
2. Using a plastic wedge, pry up and remove the electric window control switch panel from the door trim, and if equipped, the door rear-view mirror adjustment control switches as well (see accompanying illustration).

B. Electric window control switch panel
3. Disconnect the electrical wiring connector from the back of the corresponding switch panel.
4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Meriva Models
5. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery (see Chapter 5).
6. Carefully pry up the switch panel in the door armrest using a plastic wedge (see accompanying illustration) and press it outward.

7. Remove the panel and disconnect the switch wiring connector.
8. To remove the control panel for adjusting the door rear-view mirrors, you must first remove the triangular trim panel of the front door (see Chapter 11, Section 24).
9. Disconnect the wiring connector from the back of the triangle trim and remove the switch panel from the trim.
10. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
