Attention! Keep open flames or sparks away from the work area. There is a risk of fire!
Removing
Disconnect wire "masses" from the battery.
Disconnect fuel hoses.
Remove the pump from the camshaft housing.
Attention! Place a rag underneath as fuel may leak out.
Clean mating surfaces.
Installation
Install and secure the pump with a new gasket.
Tighten bolts to 20 Nm.
Connect fuel hoses and secure with new clamps. The hose from the fuel tank is attached to the pump cover, and the hose from the carburetor is attached to the bottom of the pump.
Connect wire "masses" to the battery.
To check the operation of the pump, disconnect the hose going to the carburetor from it. Put a rag on and turn on the starter. In this case, the fuel should pour out jerkily.
The fuel pressure at the pump outlet at 2000 rpm should be 0.25-0.33 bar.
