Clean and lightly lubricate the moving joints of the carburetor and the accelerator cable.
Check the idle speed and CO content in the exhaust gases.
Replace the filter in the fuel line.
Check for cracks and deformations in the fuel hoses. Replace the hoses if necessary.
Hoses that are wet on the outside should also be replaced.
