Removal and installation the fuel filter of the 2E3 carburetor (Opel Vectra A)

The fuel filter should be replaced every time the carburetor is cleaned.

Removal

Remove the air filter.

Disconnect the fuel hose from the carburetor, after loosening the clamp.



Screw the M3 screw into the fuel filter to a depth of approximately 5 mm and remove it together with the filter from the pipe.

Attention! If the carburetor freezes in severe frosts, the fuel filter must be removed and cleaned.

Installation

Install a new filter.

Connect the fuel hose and secure it with a clamp.

Install the air filter.
