Removal and installation



The fuel pump is driven by the camshaft eccentric. Removing and installing the fuel pump is not particularly difficult.

When installing the pump, install a new gasket and press it into place, secure the fuel supply and outlet hoses to the pump with clamps.

After installing the pump, check the fuel supply pressure, which at an engine crankshaft speed of 1950 rpm should be within 0.25-0.36 kg/cm² for engines "13N", "13S", "14NV" and 0.25-0.33 kg/cm² for engines "16S", "16SV".
