Removal and installation the 2E3 carburetor (Opel Vectra A)

Removal

Disconnect the ground wire from the battery.

Remove the air filter.

Disconnect the cable from the carburetor.

Mark and disconnect the connectors from the idle air control valve and the starting device.

Remove the starting device.

Disconnect the carburetor fuel hose.

Mark and disconnect the vacuum hoses.

Unscrew the three screws in the middle of the carburetor and remove the carburetor.

Installation

Install the carburetor in place and secure it.

Connect the electrical connectors to the idle air control valve and the starting device.

Connect the fuel hose and secure it with a clamp.

Connect the cable to the carburetor and adjust its tension.

Secure the starting device and adjust it.

Install the air filter.

Connect the ground wire to the battery.

Check the idle speed and CO content in the exhaust gases.
