Air damper control device (Opel Vectra A)
The eccentrically mounted air damper sets the required fuel/air ratio during cold start, warm engine operation and acceleration of the vehicle. The damper is controlled by a rod from a small electric motor. The regulation speed is very high. At the same time, using a lever located on the other side of the air damper axis, the cross-section of the idle air jet changes depending on the position of the damper.
