Removal and installation the carburetor cover (Opel Vectra A)

Removal

Disconnect the ground wire from the battery.

Remove the air filter.

Remove the throttle potentiometer and choke control unit.



Disconnect the fuel hose and close it with a suitable plug.

Remove the carburetor cover

Installation

Install a new gasket under the carburetor cover.

Install and secure the cover.

Connect and secure the fuel hose with a clamp.

Install the throttle potentiometer and starting device.

Install the air filter.

Connect the ground wire to the battery.

Check engine idling and CO content in exhaust gases; adjust if necessary.
