Removing
Disconnect the earth cable from the battery.
Crush the air filter.
Remove the hose from the vacuum opening device.
Unscrew the clamping ring from the starter automatics.
Remove the starter cover together with the bimetal spring and the holder with the vacuum opening device.
Loosen and remove the accelerator pump connecting rod.
Remove the retaining clip of the choke connecting rod and pull it out of the fast idle stepped cam spline.
Crush circlip and fast idle cam together with lock lever and spacer sleeve.
Unscrew 3 long and 4 short screws and remove the carburetor cover.
Attention! The seal must remain on the body of the float chamber, as the accelerator pump piston is under the action of the spring.
Remove the piston, accelerator pump spring and seal.
Installation
Install new seal.
Attention! The seal has cutouts for the partial power needle and low pressure piston to avoid damage during installation.
Install the piston with spring into the pump cylinder.
Carefully install the carburetor cover onto the float chamber body and tighten the screws.
Attention! Make sure that the accelerator pump piston does not jam.
Install fast idle cam, lock lever and spacer sleeve onto studs and lock.
Attention! The choke start lever and secondary choke lever must be in the correct position.
Install and lock the connecting rod of the air start damper.
Install the vacuum opening device in place with the bracket.
Install the cover together with the bimetal spring, see paragraph 4.29.
Secure the cover with the clamping ring.
Connect the pump lever to the connecting rod and secure it with a self-locking screw.
Attention! Self-locking screws must be replaced after 3 uses.
Attach the vacuum hose.
Connect starter cable.
Install the air filter.
Connect ground cable to battery.
Adjust the carburetor see paragraph 4.25.
