This work can be done without removing the carburetor from the vehicle.
Removal
Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
Crush the air filter.
Remove the hose from the vacuum release device.

Unscrew the clamping ring from the starting automatic.
Remove the starter cover together with the bimetallic spring and the holder with the vacuum opening device.
Unpin and remove the accelerator pump connecting rod.
Remove the choke connecting rod retaining clip and pull it out of the fast idle stepped cam spline.
Crush the retaining ring and fast idle cam together with the locking lever and spacer sleeve.
Remove 3 long and 4 short screws and remove the carburetor cover.
Caution! The seal must remain on the float chamber body, as the accelerator pump piston is under the action of the spring.
Remove the piston, accelerator pump spring and seal.
Installation
Install a new seal.
Caution: The seal has cutouts for the partial power needle and low pressure piston to avoid damage during installation.
Install the piston with spring into the pump cylinder.
Carefully install the carburetor cover onto the float chamber body and tighten the screws.
Caution! Make sure that the accelerator pump piston does not jam.
Install the fast idle cam, locking lever and spacer sleeve onto the studs and secure.
Caution: The choke lever and secondary choke lever must be in the correct position.
Install and secure the air starter damper connecting rod.
Install the vacuum opening device in place of the bracket.
Install the cover together with the bimetallic spring, see p. 4.29.
Secure the lid with the clamping ring.
Connect the pump lever to the connecting rod and secure it with a self-locking screw.
Attention! Self-locking screws must be replaced after 3 uses.
Secure the vacuum hose.
Connect the starter cable.
Install the air filter.
Connect the ground cable to the battery.
Adjust the carburetor, see p. 4.25.
