Adjusting CO content (Opel Kadett D)

            0

Turn off all consumers.

Warm up the engine to an oil temperature of +60°C.

Open the starting valve completely.

Do not remove the air filter.

Pull out and pinch the crankcase ventilation hose.

Connect the tachometer.

Start the engine.

Start the engine.

If the CO is not within the norm, remove the seal from the mixture adjustment screw.

Adjust. Data see paragraph 4.48.

Caution! The radiator fan must not operate during adjustment.

If the idle speed is out of order, adjust it.

Reinstall the blue seal.

Attention! After adjusting the CO, put the crankcase ventilation hose back in place. If the CO content increases, this is not due to adjustment, but to intensive engine operation in urban conditions. When driving fast in rural areas for 30 minutes or changing the oil, the CO content returns to normal.
