It is checked and adjusted only when the engine loses throttle response or the cold engine does not respond well to the gas pedal. In addition, after disassembling the throttle part of the carburetor.
Connect the tachometer.
Check idle speed and CO when engine is warm. Oil temperature +60°-80°C.
Remove the air filter.
Remove and clamp the vacuum hose from the intake manifold to the automatically switching air filter air heater (if any).
Stop the engine.
Starting automation
Open the throttle valve slightly. Install the step cap so that when the throttle valve is closed, the idle speed adjustment screw rests against the protrusion of the step cam.
Start the engine without pressing the gas pedal.
Measure the idle speed and compare it with the table, see paragraph 4.48.

To adjust, use the adjusting screw (arrow).
Manual starter valve

Pull the flap until the marking (arrow) aligns with the adjusting screw.
Hold the starting valve in the open position with your hand or a rubber band.
Start the engine.
Adjust the idle speed with the code screw, the value is see paragraph 4.48.
Place a new filling.
Attach the low pressure hose to the air filter intake pipe.
Install the air filter.
