Rules for working with the fuel system (Opel Vectra A)

When working with the fuel system, the following rules must be observed:

• Thoroughly clean connections and surrounding areas before disassembling connections.
• Place the removed parts on the bottom of a clean container and cover them with film or paper. Do not use lint-free rags.
• Carefully close open parts of the system if repair is to be postponed.
• Install only clean parts in place.
• Remove parts from packaging only immediately prior to installation.
• Do not use parts that have been stored without packaging.
• Avoid using compressed air.
• If possible, do not move the car.
