- to initiate the operation of the central lock
- to turn on/off the anti-theft alarm
Attention! Try not to over-moisten the remote control and do not press the control buttons on it unnecessarily.
The range of the remote control is about 3 m and may be reduced if there are obstacles and / or reflective objects between it and the car. When using the remote control, point it at the car.
Initiation of a unified (central) castle
The compilers of this Guide recommend the use of a remote control for opening and closing the doors of cars equipped with a central lock.
When using the remote control, the control LED on it should light up. The correct reception of the remote control signal by the remote lock/anti-theft alarm system is indicated by a single/double flashing of the hazard warning lights.
Central locking
1. Click the button (1) on the remote control. At the same time, the red LED on the remote control should blink - the locks of all car doors, including the tailgate, are locked.
Attention! For safety reasons, do not lock the car doors when the ignition switch is turned to the ACC or ON position!
Unlocking the central lock
1. Click the button (2) on the remote control. At the same time, the green LED on the remote control should blink - the locks of all doors, including the tailgate, are open.
Possible causes of central locking failures
Failure of the central locking on the remote control signal can occur only for one of the following reasons:
- The remote control is too far away from the car.
- The battery level of the remote control battery has dropped - replace it.
- The remote control has been repeatedly and successfully used to control the activators of the central lock from too far away - reprogram it (see below).
Open the car door with the key.
