2. Release the locking strip and remove the bellows from the worn joint.
3. Spread apart the spring ring that secures the joint to the drive shaft (Figure 7.4).

4. Knock the joint out of the drive shaft using a plastic-headed hammer (Figure 7.5).

5. Install the new joint by tapping until the snap ring fits into its groove.
6. Lubricate the joint with the specified grease.
7. Install the bellows as indicated in previous Section.
8. Install the drive shaft on the machine.
