2. Stop the engine and cock the parking brake lever.
3. Hang out the car by means of the elevator or establish on supports.
4. On Corsa Eco models, remove the engine crankcase protection (see Section 5).
5. Disconnect the oil pressure sensor wiring connector (see resist. illustration).
14.5. Connector (1) sensor wiring (2) oil pressure (Z16XE/Z16SE engines)
6. Substitute a suitable container for collecting oil, unscrew the pressure sensor and install a pressure gauge with a special adapter instead (see resist. illustration).
14.6. pressure gauge (3) for measuring pressure in the engine lubrication system with a special adapter (4)
7. Start the engine and let it idle.
8. Check the oil pressure with the engine running. If the pressure in the system is below the specified (see specs), it is necessary to check the lubrication system for leaks, if necessary, replace the failed or worn elements of the system - oil pump, bearings, etc.
9. Upon completion of the test, reinstall the pressure sensor with a new seal and tighten to the required torque. Reinstall the crankcase protection if equipped.
