Removal and installation an additional heater (diesel models) (Opel Corsa C)

1. Remove the front bumper cover (see Chapter 11).

2. Unlock and disconnect the auxiliary heater wiring connector, loosen the mounting clamps and disconnect the cooling system hoses (see accompanying illustration). Note: When disconnecting the hoses, some coolant may spill out, please prepare a suitable container to collect the leaking liquid in advance.

3. Disconnect the fuel hose (see illustration 15.2) and immediately close the hole with a suitable plug. If necessary, remove traces of leaked fuel.

4. Remove 3 bolts (see accompanying illustration) and separate the additional heater together with the mounting bracket from the body.

5. Remove the wiring harness from the holder (see illustration 15.4) and remove the holder. Loosen the mounting clamp on the exhaust pipe, unscrew the mounting bolts and separate the exhaust pipe from the auxiliary heater.

6. Unscrew 2 bolts, remove the mounting bracket and remove the additional heater.

7. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Add coolant and check the cooling system for leaks.
