Removal and installation the HVAC control panel switch assembly (Opel Corsa C)

Note: If any switch/backlight lamp fails, the entire switch block must be replaced.


13. Remove the HVAC control panel cover (see illustrations 11.4).

14. Set the fan speed rotary switch to the left until it stops (the "Off" position).

15. On models equipped with air conditioning, turn the rotary switch for selecting the air flow direction to the position. This will prevent possible damage to the switch unit when installing the handle.

16. Remove the rotary switch handles from the HVAC control panel.

17. Remove the HVAC control panel illumination lamps from the switch block (see accompanying illustration).

Note: If necessary, first unlock and remove the cover over the lamps.


18. Press the switch block latches (see accompanying illustration).

19. Press the wiring connector on the back of the HVAC control panel, press the switch assembly out and remove it from the socket.

20. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
