11. Press down with a plastic wedge (for example, Hazet 196520) upper and lower deflector fasteners (see accompanying illustration) and remove it from the dashboard.

12. When installing, insert the deflector into the mounting socket and press until it locks into place.

13. Remove the right steering column switch trim panel (see Chapter 11).

14. Remove the lower steering column trim.

15. Remove the instrument cluster trim (see Chapter 11).

16. Remove the instrument panel trim strip above the main storage compartment (see Chapter 11).

17. Remove 2 mounting screws, press the central deflectors housing down and release it from the upper clips (see accompanying illustration).

18. Remove the housing together with the deflectors from the instrument panel and disconnect the connector (see illustration 10.17) electrical wiring on the back of the case.

19. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
