18.1 Additional heater (6) diesel models (using the Y30DT engine as an example): 1, 2. Electrical wiring connectors; 3. Fuel line; 4. Heater housing mounting bolt; 5. Heater mounting bracket; 7. Exhaust pipe; 8. Air hose; 9. Additional heater water pump
2. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal (see Chapter 5). Drain the coolant (see Section 3).
3. Remove the air intake duct (see Chapter 4).
4. Remove the fuel filter housing from the holder (See Chapter 1), and there is no need to disconnect the fuel lines.
5. Disconnect the connectors (see illustration 18.1) electrical wiring. Place a suitable container underneath to collect any leaking coolant and disconnect the cooling system hoses from the auxiliary heater.
6. Disconnect the fuel supply line (see illustration 18.1) additional heater and immediately close it with the plug. Remove traces of spilled fuel.
7. Loosen the mounting screw and remove the exhaust pipe clamp. Unbolt the exhaust pipe holder and disconnect it from the heater.
8. Unscrew the mounting bolt (see illustration 18.1), remove the heater housing from the bracket and remove it downwards from the engine compartment.
9. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
