2. Remove the lower decorative cover of the instrument panel under the steering column (see Chapter 11).
3. Remove the left side trim of the instrument panel console section from the driver's footwell side (see Chapter 11).
4. Press the latches and disconnect the connector (see accompanying illustration) electrical wiring of the electric motor of the mixing flap drive. Unscrew the 2 fastening screws, separate the air flap drive rod and remove the electric motor.

5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
