Note: When replacing an HVAC control panel with automatic temperature control, the system must be configured using a diagnostic tool.
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery (see Chapter 5).
2. Using a plastic wedge (see accompanying illustration) press the side clips and separate the control panel from the console section of the instrument panel.

3. Disconnect the electrical wiring connectors from the back of the control panel (see accompanying illustration).
11.3 Release the fasteners (3 and 4) and disconnect the connectors (1 and 2) of the HVAC control panel wiring harness
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
