Electric motor of the interior blower — removal and installation (Opel Omega B2)

Removal

1. Disconnect the negative (-) cable terminal from the battery and remove the glove box.

2. Disconnect and remove air duct 1 (see illustration).



3. Disconnect the 2 wire harness holder (see illustration 13.2).

4. Disconnect the multi-pin plug 3 of the resistor board by pressing the locking clip (see illustration).



5. Disconnect low pressure hose 5 from the diaphragm valve of the air distribution flap and release it from the fastening 4 (see illustration 13.4).

6. Unscrew the bolts securing the electric motor cover and remove it together with the electric motor (see arrows in illustration 13.4).

7. Unscrew the bolts securing cover 8 to electric motor 6 and remove the cover by pressing sleeve 7 inward (see illustration).





The fan motor is installed in the reverse order of removal.
