Removal and installation the outside mirror and its drive electric motor (Opel Corsa B)

Removal

1. Press the mirror out of the housing with a wide spatula. To avoid damaging the mirror housing, place a rag or cardboard underneath. The mirror can be removed by pressing it from the outside and pulling it out from the inside with your fingers. In this case, the window should be opened.

2. If the mirror is heated, disconnect its connector.

3. Unscrew the mirror drive electric motor from the housing and disconnect its connector.

Installation

1. Install the mirror motor and secure it, while routing the wiring behind the motor. Connect the connector.

2. Before installing a new mirror, lubricate the retaining clips.

3. If there is a heated outside mirror, connect its connector.

4. Position the mirror so that the locking tabs are over the corresponding holes and press down on it. The mirror should lock into place.
