Removal and installation the hood (Opel Corsa B)

You will need an assistant to remove the hood.


1. Open and lock it in the fully open position with the stop bar.

2. Disconnect the hose from the windshield washer pump. To do this, remove the pump from the reservoir.

3. Mark the position of the hood mounting bolts on the hinges.

4. Remove the bolts securing the hood to both hinges and remove the hood.

5. Install the hood and tighten the mounting bolts according to the previously made marks.

6. Attach the hose to the windshield washer pump and insert the pump into the reservoir.

Installing a new hood



1. Screw in the rubber stops (1) and glue the damping rubber pads (2). Adjust the height of the hood relative to the fenders.

2. Position the hood horizontally without the hook, focusing on the gaps relative to the windshield, fenders and headlights.

3. Install the hook (4) with the spring (3) and rivet it.

4. Screw the threaded support assembly into the hood and install it at a distance of x (from the hood sheet to the edge of the upper washer). Then, holding the support with a wrench, tighten the nut (2).

5. Secure the windshield washer hose to the holder. The hose should not be pinched when the hood is closed.
