An assistant will be required to carry out the work.
Removal
Open and prop up the hood.
Disconnect the supply pipes from the windshield washer sprayers.
Disconnect the connector from the engine compartment light.
Mark the position of the mounting bolts on the hinge.
Loosen the bolts on both hinges and remove the hood with the help of an assistant.
Installation
Install the hood with the help of an assistant and secure it with bolts in accordance with the markings made.
Connect the supply pipes to the windshield washer sprayers and the connector to the engine compartment light.

Installing a new hood
Screw in rubber buffers A and glue sound-absorbing rubber in the middle of the hood. By unscrewing the rubber buffers, adjust the height of the hood in relation to the front fenders.
Install the hood so that the gap between it, the windshield, front fenders and headlights is the same everywhere.
Install locking hook 1 with spring 2 and rivet 3, squeezing the ends of the rivet with pliers.
Screw the locking pin 8 with the small washer 7, the spiral spring 6, the large washer 5 into the hood and set the distance X = 40-45 mm (in Calibra cars: 45-50 mm). Distance "X" is measured from the hood sheet to the edge of small washer 7. Secure the locking pin by holding it with a 19 mm wrench and screwing washer 5 toward the hood.
Install windshield washer sprayers.
