The hood, trunk lid, doors and front fenders are bolted on and can be easily removed and replaced if necessary. When installing, the required gaps must be observed, otherwise, for example, the door will knock or there will be increased wind noise when driving. The gap between the body panels must be the same along the entire length.
The windshield and rear window are glued and must be replaced at an Opel service station.
Attention! When repairing the body, ensure good contact of the connections with the "ground". High resistance at the contact points (contaminated contacts) lead to difficulties in starting the engine, overloads of electronic equipment and, in extreme cases, can lead to its failure.
