Removal and installation the front wing (Opel Corsa B)

Removal



1. Remove the front bumper cover (see section Removal and installation the bumper trim and support beam).

2. Knock out the rivet core (1) with a screwdriver and remove the rivet from the wheel arch liner.

3. Remove the side turn signal (see Chapter On-board electrical equipment).

4. Secure the hood in the fully open position with the stop bar. Protect the hood and hinges from damage to their paintwork.

5. Remove bolts (2) from the wing, bolts (3) from the A-pillar, and bolts (4).

6. Remove the wing from the body. In doing so, cut off the sealant with a sharp knife or heat it with a hair dryer.

Installation



1. When installing the antenna on the left wing of the models Combo drill a hole according to the diagram provided. Clean the edges of the hole, prime and paint them.

2. Clean the wing support element on the body and seal it with OPEL tape 90 350 106 (15 05 301) or some other sealing tape.

3. Install the wing and tighten the bolts. The distance between the hood and the wing, as well as the distance from the rear edge of the wing to the front door should be 4 ±1 mm. Watch the position of the wing relative to the headlight. The wing should protrude above the plane of the front door by 0÷2 mm.

4. Apply a protective wax coating to the inside of the wing.

5. Secure the wheel arch liner.

6. Install the side turn signal (see Chapter On-board electrical equipment).

7. Install the front bumper cover.
