Replacement of incandescent lamps for outdoor lighting devices (Opel Corsa B)

Before replacing, turn off the ignition and the switch for the corresponding lamp.

The procedure for replacing the front parking light and turn signal bulbs on the Tigra model is described in Section Replacing bulbs in headlights, parking lights and front turn signals on Tigra.

1. To gain access to the right headlight, remove the air intake sleeve (see Chapter Fuel, exhaust and emission control systems).

2. Disconnect the connector on the lamp base.

3. Press the lamp holder against the reflector, release it by turning it to the left and remove it from the reflector.

4. Remove the lamp from the socket.

5. Insert a new lamp into the socket.

6. Insert the cartridge into the reflector and secure the cartridge by turning it to the right.

7. Connect the connector.

8. When replacing the front right parking light or turn signal bulb, insert the air duct into the air filter and secure its sleeve by turning the lock 90 degrees.

1. Carefully pry up the side turn signal lamp lens housing with a plastic wedge or a screwdriver wrapped in a rag and separate it from the front wing. Disconnect the connector.

2. Remove the cartridge from the diffuser.

3. Press the bulb into the socket, turn it to the left and remove it.

4. Insert the new bulb into the socket and secure it by turning it to the right. Connect the connector.

5. Insert the socket into the diffuser and press the latter into the front wing.

Fog light



1. Disconnect the connector from the bottom of the headlight while pressing the safety hook.

2. Open the headlight cover by turning it to the left and disconnect the wire (1).

3. Press the spring lock (2) towards the headlight and up, then open to the left.

4. Replace the halogen lamp (3).

5. Install the spring stopper, connect the wire.

6. Fix the cover by turning it to the right.

7. Connect the connector.

Rear combination light



1. Open the lid in the luggage compartment by pulling out the stoppers. On the model Tigra to do this, open the rotary locks.

2. On three-door Corsa model and the Combo model squeeze both locking levers and remove the reflector from the tail light.

3. On five-door Corsa model press the locking lever down and remove the reflector from the rear light.

4. On the model Tigra squeeze the lamp holder lock tabs on the right and left and pull out the lamp holder.

5. Press the lamp into the socket, turn it to the left and remove it.

6. Insert the new bulb into the socket and turn it to the left.

7. Insert the reflector into the rear light.

8. Close the lid and secure it.

License plate light



1. On models Corsa and Combo use a screwdriver to remove the license plate light from the bumper.

2. On the model Tigra press the protruding strip of the license plate light towards the center and remove the light from the bumper.

3. Press in the side locking tab and remove the diffuser.

4. Press the bulb into the socket, turn it to the left and remove it.

5. Insert the new bulb into the socket and turn it to the left.

6. Install the diffuser and fix the light in the bumper.
