Replacing headlight bulbs (Opel Corsa B)

1. Open the hood and secure it with the stop bar.

2. To gain access to the right headlight, remove the air intake pipe (see Chapter Fuel, exhaust and emission control systems).

3. Turn off the headlight, disconnect the connector from the back of the headlight. Remove the rubber cover.

4. Disconnect the spring clip of the lamp holder from the locking strips and fold it back.

5. Remove the incandescent lamp.

6. Insert the new lamp so that the lamp holder tabs fit into the reflector grooves. Hold the lamp only by the holder, not by the bulb. Remove any fingerprints left on the lamp with a clean cloth soaked in alcohol.



7. Press the lamp with the bracket.

8. Install the headlight cover.

9. Connect the lamp connector.

10. Near the right headlight, insert the air duct into the air filter and secure its sleeve to the front cross member of the body by turning the clamp 90 degrees.

11. Check the headlight adjustment.
