Removal and installation the front wing (Opel Astra J)

The removal of the left front wing is shown. The right wing is removed in a similar manner.

You will need: 7 mm socket head, wrench or 10 mm socket head.



1. Remove the front…



2. …and the rear part of the front wheel arch liner (see Removal and installation mudguards).



3. Remove the side turn signal (see Replacing the side turn signal).





4. Remove the front bumper (see Removal and installation the front bumper).



5. Remove the three front wing mounting bolts…



6. …and two bolts for the rear lower mount to the threshold.



7. Open the front door and remove the rear upper wing mounting bolt.





8. Remove the left outer windshield trim, overcoming the elastic resistance of its clips.



9. Remove the upper rear wing mounting bolt.



10. Unscrew the bolt A upper front wing mount and bolt B headlight mounts



11. Unscrew the upper middle wing mounting bolt and remove the wing.

12. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
