1. Open the hood and place it on the stop.
2. Loosen the left upper screw securing the front bumper..
3.... remove the screw..
4.... and remove the hood lock cable from under the edge of the bumper.
5. Press the cable holder on the radiator frame with a screwdriver..
6.... and remove the cable from the holder.
7. From the inside of the upper cross member of the radiator frame, press the lock of the wiring harness block to the hood lock..
8.... and disconnect the block from the lock harness block.
9. Pressing with a screwdriver on the lock of the holder of the wiring harness block of the hood lock..
10... disconnect the block from the holder.
11. Turn out two bolts of fastening of an arm of the lock of a cowl to the top crossbar of a frame of a radiator …
Note. This is how the hood lock bolts are located.
12.... and disconnect the lock from the cross member by pulling the lock wire harness out of the cross member hole.
13. Squeeze the clamps of the tip of the hood drive cable sheath with pliers..
14.... remove the tip from the upper hole of the lock support bracket and move it to the lower hole of the lock bracket, passing the cable along the groove between the holes.
15. Push the tip of the cable sheath into the bracket, as shown in the photo..
16.... pry the tip of the cable with a screwdriver..
17.... remove the tip from the groove of the lock lever..
18.... and remove the lock.
19. Establish the lock of a cowl in an order, the return to removal. Before installing the lock, lubricate its locking mechanism with grease (e.g. lithol).
20. If, after installation, the lock does not lock clearly or is difficult to unlock, adjust its position. Loosen the bolts of the lock and moving it vertically within the oval holes of the bracket achieve its precise operation.
