Please note! OPEL OMEGA cars produced since 2000 are equipped with automatic air conditioning as standard.
Removal
1. Disconnect the negative (-) terminal from the battery.
2. Remove the radio and ashtray by pressing its clamp to the right. Then unscrew the ashtray holder mounting bolt and disconnect the plug.
3. Remove the hazard warning light switch by pressing it down, removing the cover and depressing the locking clips.
4. Remove the covers 1 from the side switches on the panel by prying them off with a small screwdriver (see illustration).
5. Unscrew the two upper mounting bolts (see arrows in illustration 10.4), press the right and left latches 2 down and remove the switch panel from the mounting compartment on the instrument panel.
6. Disconnect the multi-pin plug and the switch plugs from the back of the panel.
7. Remove the seat heater rotary switch from the panel.
8. Remove the cover from the switch panel by pressing the latches on the right and left sides.
Installation of the heater switch panel is performed in the reverse order of removal.
