Removal and installation air intake tract components (Opel Corsa B)

Engines 1.0, 1.2 and 1.4 l



1. Remove the plastic clamp (1). To do this, turn it at a 90 degree angle with a screwdriver or coin. Tilt the air intake sleeve upwards (2) and remove it from the filter housing

2. Disconnect the warm air hose (3) from the exhaust manifold cover.

3. On 1.2 and 1.4 liter engines with 45 and 60 hp respectively disconnect the air hose (4) from the pre-chamber (6). To do this, loosen the clamp (5).

4. On 1.0 and 1.2 liter engines with 55 and 65 hp respectively disconnect the MAF sensor connector. Disconnect the air hose from the pre-chamber.

5. On 1.4 and 1.6 liter engines with 82 and 106 hp respectively disconnect the air hose from the throttle body.

6. Disconnect the vacuum hose (7) behind the pre-chamber.

7. Tilt the air filter (8) upwards and then remove it from the front rubber holder (9).

8. Remove the air filter from the rubber holders near the shock absorber strut and remove the filter.



9. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Engine 1.6 l (109 hp)



1. Disconnect the air hose going to the throttle body element at the MAF sensor.

2. Disconnect the MAF sensor connector.

3. Disconnect the air intake hose from the front crossmember. To do this, turn the clamp with a screwdriver or coin at an angle of 90 degrees.

4. Tilt the air filter up and remove it from the front rubber holder. Remove the filter from the rubber holders near the shock absorber and remove it together with the MAF sensor.

5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Diesel engine



1. Remove the air hose from the air intake sleeve.

2. Disconnect the intake manifold from the front crossmember. To do this, turn the clamp 90 degrees with a screwdriver or coin.

3. Tilt the air filter up and out of the front rubber holder. Remove the filter from the rubber holders at the shock absorber and remove the filter.

4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
