Removal air from the fuel system of a diesel engine (Opel Corsa B)

            0

Air should be removed from the fuel system if the fuel system has been opened or the fuel tank has been emptied while the vehicle is moving.

1. Check that there is fuel in the tank.

2. Start the engine. After 10 seconds, take a break for 5 seconds. When starting, the air from the fuel system is removed by itself.

3. After starting, let the engine run for about 30 seconds at high speed. This will completely remove air from the fuel system.

4. If the engine does not start due to the formation of an air lock in the fuel line, loosen the union nut of injector 1 or 4 and turn on the starter so that fuel comes out. Then tighten the nuts again and start the engine.

Be careful not to spill fuel on the hoses. If it does, wipe it off immediately. Replace damaged hoses.
