Removal and installation the heating/ ventilation/ air conditioning (HVAC)control panel (Opel Astra H)

Note: When replacing the HVAC control panel with automatic temperature control, the system must be configured using a diagnostic tool - contact an Opel service center.

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery (see Chapter 5).

2. Remove the infotainment system (see Chapter 12).

3. Press the upper and lower clamps (see accompanying illustration) and remove the HVAC control panel.

4. Disconnect the electrical wiring connectors from the back of the control panel (see accompanying illustration).



5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
