Removal and installation the air circulation flap drive electric motor (Opel Astra H)

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery (see Chapter 5).

2. Remove the left lower decorative cover of the instrument panel (see Chapter 11, Section 34).

3. Remove the air supply hose to the driver's footwell (see accompanying illustration), removing the Torx (T25) mounting screw and the sleeve for its installation.



4. Disconnect the electric motor wiring connector (see accompanying illustration), unscrew the 3 mounting bolts and remove the electric motor from the air distributor housing.



5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

8. To remove the electric motor, it is necessary to additionally remove the side decorative panel of the central console from the driver's footwell side and the lower casing of the steering column (see Chapter 11).
