Removal and installation the resistive assembly of the heater fan drive motor (Opel Astra H)

1. The reason for the fan failure at any speed is usually a faulty resistive assembly - replace the assembly.

2. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal (see Chapter 5).

3. Remove the main storage compartment (see Chapter 11).

4. Remove the resistive assembly (see accompanying illustration) upward from the air distributor housing and disconnect the electrical wiring connectors.

Note: The connectors are firmly fixed, it may be difficult to press the clamps.

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
