Heater Fan Motor — Removal and Installation (Opel Omega A)

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the wiper arms and blades (Section 12).

3. Unscrew the nuts from the wiper spindle housings.

4. Remove the trim strip and remove the water deflector.



5. Disconnect the multi-pin plug of the electrical wiring, then unscrew the bolt and remove the wiper motor.

6. Disconnect the wire contact from the fan motor.

7. Remove the screws and remove the fan shroud.

8. Remove the decorative fan caps.

9. Remove the mounting screws, then pull the motor assembly out of the vehicle. Note that the motor must rotate to pass the wiper hanger.

10. Disconnect the wires and remove the resistor from the connector.

11. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.
