Removal and installation the information display (Opel Astra H)

Note: The condition of the information display is checked using a special diagnostic device at an Opel service station. Based on this check, the need for its replacement is determined.

Astra Models

1. Remove the instrument panel console section trim with air deflectors (see Chapter 11, Section 41).

2. Remove the 2 mounting bolts (see accompanying illustration) and remove the information display together with the adjustment from the instrument panel.

3. Disconnect the wiring connector from the back of the display, press the 2 latches and remove the display cover upwards.

4. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Set the time and date.

Zafira Models

5. Remove the instrument panel console section trim with air deflectors (see Chapter 11, Section 41).

6. Remove the 2 mounting bolts and separate the 2 support strips (see accompanying illustration). Remove the decorative display cover downwards.



7. Remove the display together with the visor from the instrument panel, disconnect the electrical wiring connector from the back of the display.

8. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Set the time and date.
