Removing
1. Raise the front of the car and place it on stands, remove the right wheel.
2. Remove the drive belt (see chapter 1), preliminarily indicating the direction of their movement.
3. To prevent the crankshaft from turning when the pulley bolt is loosened, shift to a higher gear and ask an assistant to depress the brake pedal. On models with automatic transmission, unscrew one of the drive plate mounting bolts and secure the drive plate to the crankcase with a bar and 2 bolts. If the bolt loosens on the removed engine, then fix the flywheel with a device for the ring gear.
4. Remove the bolt and remove the pulley from the crankshaft, taking care not to damage the crankshaft angle sensor.
Installation
5. Install the pulley, aligning the notch on the pulley with the protrusion on the camshaft belt drive sprocket, put on the washer and tighten the new bolt (see photo).
6. Secure the crankshaft from turning and tighten the bolt in 2 steps (see technical data). Install the belt, install the wheel and lower the car.
