Removal using the OPEL KM 565 tool
1. Using a special tool, the hydraulic pushers can be removed without dismantling the camshaft.
2. Raise the front of the car and remove the right wheel.
3. Remove the cylinder head cover, turn the crankshaft so that the lift of the drive cam of the removed pusher is facing up.
4. Install the fixture on the bearing housing, make sure that the stop of the fixture is on the end face of the valve. When screwing the fixture bolt into the threaded hole for the bearing housing mounting bolt, compress the valve spring and remove the pusher, cap and hydraulic pusher from under the camshaft.
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Lubricate the tappets with engine oil before assembly.
