It works like this:
- The switch sends a signal to turn on the multitimer. It sends a signal to relay K1.
- Relay K1 passes current to the heated rear window.
- After about 15 minutes - if not switched off earlier - the multi-timer interrupts the current supply to the relay. It opens its contacts and, in turn, interrupts the current supply to the glass.
If there is no voltage, check relay K1.
If nothing happens despite a good relay, check the heated rear window switch as described above.
If everything was OK so far, the only source of the fault is the multi-timer or a break in the wire - mainly in the area of the transfer from the body to the rear window - check.
The multi-timer cannot be tested by amateur means.
