Removal
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the air mass flow meter and from the intake air temperature sensor.
3. Remove the upper part of the air cleaner together with the air intake line and air flow meter.
4. Loosen the hose clamps, separate the air flow meter from the air inlet line, noting its position in relation to the air flow meter. If there is any external damage, replace the unit.
Installation
5. Install in reverse order, but make sure the main air duct is connected to the air flow meter as shown (see illustration). Also make sure that the marks on the air line and the air block are aligned as shown (see illustration).
