Air mass meter (if equipped) — removal and installation (Opel Vectra A)

Removal

1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

2. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the air mass meter. Remove the O-ring (see illustration).



3. Loosen the main air duct mounting screws on both sides of the air mass meter, then disconnect the main air duct and remove the meter.

Installation

4. Install in reverse order, but check the condition of the air mass meter wiring connector O-ring, replace if necessary.
