Emission Control System Shut-Off Valve — Removal and Installation (Opel Vectra A)

Removal

1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

2. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the valve.

3. Mark the location of the vacuum hoses before disconnecting them from the valve.

4. After disconnecting the hoses, unscrew and remove the two bolts from the bracket.

Installation

5. Install in reverse order. Check that the hoses are installed correctly (see illustration).
