Removal



1. Block the rear wheels, jack up the front of the car and place it on axle stands placed under the sides of the body frame.

2. Remove the left front wheel and inner wheel arch liner.

3. Loosen the clamps and remove the air duct hose from the pump.

4. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

5. Unscrew the fastening nuts, remove the pump assembly. Disconnect the electrical wiring.

6. Remove the electrical wiring from the pump bracket.

7. Mark the position of the pump on the bracket before separating them.

8. Unscrew the bolts, disconnect the pump from the insulator.

9. The insulator can also be checked by unscrewing the three nuts securing the protective plate. Before removing, make marks on the plate and the insulator.

10. Check that the pump air filter is not damaged.

Installation



11. Perform installation in reverse order.
