Removal
1. Remove the air cleaner element as described in Section 1.
2. Release the crankcase ventilation hose from the plastic clip on the left side of the air cleaner housing.
3. Disconnect the inlet duct from the warm air hose on the exhaust manifold (see illustration), lift the air filter housing off the carburetor.

4. Tilt the casing back, disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the pipe on the bottom (see illustration). If applicable, disconnect the vacuum hose from the air temperature control flap thermostat.

5. Remove the seal from under the air filter housing.
Installation
6. Check the condition of the warm air hose, replace if necessary.
7. Install a new seal between the air cleaner housing and the carburetor.
8. Connect the crankcase ventilation hose to the pipe on the bottom, connect the vacuum hose of the air temperature control flap.
at the same time, position the inlet duct on the warm air hose on the exhaust manifold.
10. Secure the crankshaft ventilation hose with a plastic clamp.
11. Install the air filter element, if necessary, refer to Section 1.
