Note: Before you start, see Chapter 2.
1. Disconnect the low voltage wire from the ignition coil.
2. Wrap a clean rag around the pump outlet, then disconnect the hose from the pump.
3. Ask the assistant to turn the engine with a starter. Fuel should come out of the pump outlet in strong, even shocks - if this is not the case, the pump is probably faulty (or empty fuel tank).
4. There are no spare parts for the pump, so in case of failure, the unit must be replaced.
