2. When working on fuel system components, extreme cleanliness must be maintained and care must be taken to ensure that no foreign objects enter the fuel lines or system components. Carburetors are very delicate instruments, so avoid disturbing the components unnecessarily. Before working on a carburetor, ensure that the appropriate spare parts are available. Carburetor rebuilding procedures are not given in this Section. If problems persist, it is recommended that you contact your Opel dealer or a carburetor specialist for advice.
